For the past three years I’ve paid the Primary school tuition, food, clothing and housing for my god daughter in Port-au-Prince, Haiti. My god daughter lost her father and mother. She was left with her aunt who has no income to take care of her. She reach-out to my father and I for assistant. Since my father is retired with limited income, I took over the responsibilities.
Whenever I sent containers with food for my goddaughter, I also sent extra food for Neighbors who are in need for basic food such as rice, corn meal, beans, cereal, dry milk, flour, oil and sugar. Throughout the years more families and neighbors have asked me for help with food, housing and education assistant. Financially, I cannot do this on my own, so I seek for outside assistant. After further research, the best solution was to form a non-Profit organization in order to retrieved private and government grants.
